ALEX
Alex flew in from London and we threw him straight into the sea and he wasnt fighting us off. What a contrast from the grime of London - a happy boy.

Dog
Ive heard of taking the dog for a walk but this is the dog taking its owner for a swim. So funny to look out the window and watch it trundle past. This was taken in Georgetown where we are waiting to pick up Alex our eldest son for his 30th birthday - my how the numbers are getting bigger.

Deserted
This would have been a stunning little house with an amazing view in its day and was just left to rot.

Abandoned
On Lee Stocking Cay there is the abandoned Perry Institute Marine Research Centre. It's the strangest place for on Mr Perry's death the family just shut it down. We met a gentleman who had visited just after it was closed and they had literally got up and walked out. It's a huge site with many buildings including a diving center with de compression chamber. There was food in the fridge, all the tools and stores were in place. There were vehicles with the keys in, a fleet of boats on the moorings and a lot of personal effects in the accommodation. Really quite spooky to explore and a terrible waste.

Sunset
We had a lovely sundowner with Ian, Michelle and the crew of the good ship Dandelion. John and Sue come from the Tamar river and we hit it off straight away and they will no doubt become lifelong friends. They are lining up to sail for the Azores as they return from a trip round Cape Horn. What I love about this picture is the fact it captures the sunset, anchor lights and the moon all in one go.

Stingray
This is a small stingray but its always good to see them as I go for my daily paddleboard. Not at all bothered by me and to watch them swim is lovely as they fan their wings.
